Application

Designed for supply and distribution of electric power in stationary mine nets into nominal voltage of 1.2; 6 kV with frequency of 50 Hz at environment temperature ranging from — 30C up to +50C and 100 percent relative humidity at the temperature of 35C when laid in drifts and mine slopes and in holes by suspending to the rope.

 

Construction

Cable leads
Round copper multi-wired stranded (class 2 GOST 22483-77) (round or sectoral).

Insulation
PVC.

Screen over the insulation
Copper tape.

Grounding lead
Round copper multi-wired stranded without insulation or bundled, consisting of several wires.

Auxiliary leads
Round copper multi-wired stranded, PVC insulation or wrapping, copper tape screen.

Wrapping over the stranded core
PVC.

Serving
Armor of two steel tapes, PVC jacket.

Technical characteristics

Electric insulation resistance evaluated in 1 km length and temperature of 20C, not lower:

a) at acceptance and delivery for main leads:
— 7 MOhm — 1.2 kV;
— 50 MOhm — 6 kV;
— 10 MOhm — for auxiliary leads.

b) for the operation and storage period for main and auxiliary leads — 0.5 MOhm.

Leads electric resistance to DC corresponds with:

a) for main and grounding leads GOST 22483

b) for auxiliary leads with the cut
— 1.5 mm² — not more than 14.5 Ohm;
— 2.5 mm² — not more than 8 Ohm;
— 4 mm² — not more than 5.3 Ohm.

Cables stand the test by AC of 50 Hz nominal frequency within 10 minutes.

a) at acceptance and delivery
— 15 kV — cables for 6 kV nominal voltage;
— 4 kV — for cables of 1.2 kV nominal voltage;
— auxiliary leads — 2 kV.

b) for the period of operation and storage
— 10 kV — cables for 6 kV voltage;
— 3.5 kV — cables for 1.2 kV voltage;
— auxiliary leads — 1.8 kV.

Reheat temperature permitted for a long period is 70C.

Oxygen index of the jacket — at least 27%.

Do not conduct burning when single laid (DSTU 4216, GOST 12176).

Construction length — 400 m in amount of 60% of total length of the delivered consignment and 250 m in amount of not more than 40% of the total length of the delivered consignment. By client's option cables may be manufactured (up to 1000 m) long.

Warranty assurance — 5 years from the date of putting into operation.

Manufacturer certifies quality compliance to the present standard requirements provided the terms of operation, storage and installation are observed.

Durability — 30 years.
