Cables are designed for connection of mine traveling devices to electric network at nominal voltage up to 1.14 kV of 50 Hz frequency for main, and up to 0.22 kV of 50 Hz — for auxiliary leads.

Cables may be operated at ambient temperature of -30C up to +50C and relative humidity (98±2)% at (35±2)C.



Cable leads
Copper round multi-wired (class 5 GOST 22483-77).

Insulation of main and auxiliary leads
PVC reduced hardness compound.

Screen over the main leads
Electroconductive plastic compound.

Grounding lead
The grounding lead is bundled and consists of three separate leads, total cut of which equals to at least 10 mm². Over each separate lead of the grounding lead there shall be laid a flexible elctroconductive plastic compound screen.

Auxiliary leads
Four insulated auxiliary leads and three screened grounding leads are stranded to each other into a core. The core is covered with a flexible electroconductive plastic compound screen.

General twisting
Main insulated leads are stranded around the screened core. Intervals between the screened cable core and main leads shall be filled-up with insulated harness based on synthetic filament.

Stranded cable leads are covered with two-layer wrapping made of low hardness PVC compound, hardened by steel copper shield. On client's option the wrapping may be hardened by other materials saving strength properties of the cable.

Technical characteristics

Electric resistance of leads to direct current evaluated in 1 km length and temperature of 20C, at acceptance and delivery for main and grounding leads shall comply with GOST 22483; for auxiliary leads of 2.5 mm² cut — not exceeding 8.85 Ohm.

Electric insulation resistance of evaluated in 1 km length and temperature of 20C, at acceptance and delivery shall be:

  • for main leads — at least 50 MOhm;
  • for auxiliary leads — at least 20 MOhm.

Electric resistance of screens of cable main leads at 20C shall not exceed 1.5 kOhm.

Insulated cable leads stand -2 test by alternate voltage according to GOST 23286.

Cables stand test by alternate voltage of 50 Hz frequency within 5 minutes without putting into water at acceptance and delivery, kV:

  • 3.5 — for main leads;
  • 1.5 — for auxiliary leads.

Constriction length of cables shall be at least 200 m. Allowed delivery — cables at least 50 m long in amount of at least 20% including not more than 5% long up to 100 m. By client's option cables may be of other length.

Cables are bending resistant to the angle of ±π/2 and stand at least 9000 cycles.

Cables are bending resistant due to axle twisting to the angle of ±3π and stand at least 5000 cycles.

Cables are stretch — proof up to break of the jacket and stand at least 140 N per 1 mm² of total leads cut.

Cables are crush-proof and stand crushing load at least of 8 kN.

Cables are impact-resistant and stand without damages to the wrapping and insulation impact of at least 70 Joules.

Cables do not conduct burning when single laid.

Flame retardance limit of the wrapping is at least 100 mm.

Cables should be manufactured of materials possessing the following oxygen indices:

  • leads insulation — at least 25%;
  • wrapping — at least 30%.

Cables are bend-resistant due to axle twisting and stand number of cycles as shown in the table 1.

Flame resistance — at least 0.5 hours.

Maximal temperature of - cable wrapping surface in the mode of arc shortcut doesn't exceed 150C.

Wrapping stands maximal pressure produced from the inside of the cable at arc diphasic shortcut of at least 1.6 MPa.

Implosion protection is achieved due to implosion resistant wrapping standing tests of electro equipment of the first group, subgroup 3B.

Cable construction assures discharge of excessive pressure in the mode of arc shortcut.

Cables are resistant to lubricating oil and diesel oil.

Cables are sealed.

Durability — at least 1.5 years.

Minimal permitted bending radius shall be at least five outer diameters of the cable value.

Reheat temperature permitted for a long period shall not exceed 75C.

Manufacturer certifies quality compliance to the present standard requirements provided the terms of operation, storage and installation are observed.

Warranty assurance constitutes 6 months from the date of putting the cables into operation.
